Model: Archer AX50
Hardware Version: V16
Firmware Version: 1.0.11 Build 20210730 rel. 54485

My Archer AX50 uses a relatively large amount of power - 10 kWh per day when house is not occupied and the only active device is the fiberoptic internet and wifi. Does this make sense?

That's simply not possible:

@terziyski Thank you for the reponse. I didn't think it made sense but I have not been successful tracing the power useage, which began at the same time I installed the AX50. I'll figure it out eventually.

10 kWh per day is a serous power usage - you shouldn't have problem to trace that, but for sure it's not your AX50.

When house is not occupied check the power meter in the central electrical board of the house (or wherever it is) for any visible consumption -  power usage like this could be from a boiler for hot water, heater, air conditioning, etc. (even cryptocurrency miners).

@terziyski Found it. There is a switch that controls heater that warms a pipe that delivers water from the lake to the house so it doesn't freeze in the winter. It is not in an obvious location but somehow it got turn on, apparently about the same time as the new AX 50 was installed. The usage yesterday, with no one home, was 3.3 kWh, down from an average daily od 11.3 kWh. Thanks again.
