Firmware Version: 1.1.3 Build 20211103 Rel. 32888

I am running a DSL-Router-Modem. Behind that I placed TP Link Deco X20 in Router Mode. DSL-Router and Deco each have its own subnet and all is running fine. Problem is, that I can not see LAN devices in Deco App, only WiFi Devices. But LAN devices get IPs in subnet of Deco. So they should be listed.

 

Maybe the problem is, that I have setup a ethernet backhaul between my two Deco devices (which works fine), but I needed to put a switch in between the ethernet backhaul to get a NAS to the Deco subnet.

 

I can see in my DSL-Router that there is no other device registered than Deco Router (which is correct). So, why are the LAN devices missing in Deco App? 

Is one of the both Deco ethernet post a dedicated WAN / Uplink port? Are the ports switched (unmanaged)? If so, is there way to configure which is the WAN-only port? 

Here a network diagram of my setup. The two switches are on different floors.



ATTENTION: The first switch is directly connected to the Deco Satellite and the Satellite is then connected to the other switch. I missed that when creating the diagram!

Orange connections are obsolete!

My problem was, that I am using a Firewall that is using "ARP Spoofing" to monitor/inspect network traffic. And TP Link Deco seems to rely on ARP tables while in Router mode.

Switching Deco to Access Point mode, fixed my problem.

P.S.: I have no acces to my Network Attached Storage at all.

Okay. Switched the ports on main Deco and now it works.

Meanwhile the problem is not solved. Devices disappear after some minutes after changing ports or restarting device.
