I was just wondering what the difference is between these WiFi sections? is one for the main Wi-Fi and one for the guest? I am looking to put the guest wifi network on a separate IP with a smaller subnet mask

Interface Grouping is for regulating cross-group communication - check the user guide Chapter 14.5 for details.

You can't set your guest wireless network in a different subnet, but you could isolate the guest network from your local network.
