Model: Archer AX50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hi All,

I just a bought an Archer AX50 AX3000 wifi router.

I hook it up according to the quickstart guide. The lights on the front show that there is no internet connection, and i could not get any internet on it.

I plugged in the cable from the wall socket into the WAN plug. I do not know if this is correct.

It's an RJ11 cable, not ethernet. In the old router [expediabox v10a] there is a DSL socket, and the WAN socket is blocked.

So is it possible and correct to plug this RJ11 cable into the WAN socket on the AX50? Should it work?

Thank you for any consideration. I am new at this so i apologise if these are total newbie questions.

Forget it. Now i understand that this has no integrated modem, which would be necessary to use the DSL signal.
Fiberoptic is coming in a week or so, with a modem i know, so then i will be able to use the Archer.
