Can't find QoS on Archer, can't upgrade to version that has, any options?
Hi,
I want to configure QoS to give prioity to my PC over other in house devices (6) when gaming over Wifi (as lately Im experiencing connectivity issues).
I saw in manual of some future hardware / firmware that "QoS" is the way to go.
On my firmware, I can't find it in the green web UI, or anything related to prioritization in my manual.
Wanted to upgrade upgrade the firmware, and after failing saw this post that says upgrade isn't possible.
- Is that true? no means to upgrade at all even today?
- Any other way set QoS? I tried using the thether APP, it connceted succesfully to my router, but it barly has control options, QoS exluded as well.
Maybe some Terminal , script tool? a way to SSH into it or something? - any other configuration that can help me and IS available to me that I've missed?
BTW, I wanted to upgrade firmware for the added security as well.
