Hello! I have a 5 x20 Deco setup....working well, but the 5th one has low signal and keeps disconnecting.. its on a small room, separated from the house... is there a way to have an external antena or something to stengthen the signal?

It always has low signal or disconnects..

Thanks!

  @diegolaz Are you able to connect the 5th Deco via Ethernet cable to the nearest unit? Deco all use undetached antennas and there seems to be no way to add an external antenna.

How far it is from the small room to the main house? maybe you could try to put the 5th Deco in the middle of the small room and main house.

  @Heidi_Alp

Thanks! Its not far.. I have 3 inside the house, and a 4th on a room outside the house (crossing a wall) working well. The fith one is 8-9 meters with another wall.. to put a cable would be kind of ugly crossing... so I think I might put an outside waterproof box instead if it cant have antena extension...

From TP-Link Deco X20 specifications sheet:

Operating Temperature: 0℃~40℃ (32℉ ~104℉)
Operating Humidity: 10%~90% non-condensing
