Hi. I'm from Kyiv, Ukraine. Russia damaged all power plants in Ukraine and we have electricity instability right now.

We have up to 10 hours a day with electricity and 10 or more without.

I have TP-Link Archer AX1500 powered from UPS with a 15000 mAh battery.

Is it possible somehow to optimize the TP-Link Archer AX1500 to lower its power consumption and extend work from battery?

If I disable Wi-Fi 5G will its lower power consumption?

I have this UPS - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B518QX3G

You could lower the power consumption by disabling all the features you're not using.

Examples:

1. Disable one of the wireless radios - 5GHz if you don't need wireless speeds above 150mbps.

2. If you can use only ethernet connections you can disable both radios as well.

3. Lower the transmission power of your wireless radios (2.4GHz and 5Ghz) in Advanced=>Wireless=>Wireless settings to "middle" or "low".

4. Use a wireless Schedule feature for the periods when you don't need wireless signal.

5. Use the System => LED Control feature to save even more power.

6. Use the TWT - Target Wake Time feature in wireless settings (enable that) to extend your devices battery lifetime.

  @terziyski , thank you!

Will "Channel Width:" reduction to 20MHz decrease power consumption?

In theory it would, but I think you should keep that on "Auto" - here's a research on that matter:

https://www.researchgate<dot>net/publication/221163995_A_Case_for_Adapting_Channel_Width_in_Wireless_Networks

It will reduce the wireless interference as well as the wireless bandwidth for sure though.
