I currently have the Arris DG 2470 / 3270 Modem Router Combo and adding the TP-Link Deco AX1800 WiFi 6 Mesh System. I understand from my provider it’s not recommended to bridge the Arris with Maestro TV Service as bridging will disable your TV service.   Can I plug the TP into a port on the Arris and just disable the 2.4 and 5 WiFi on my Arris (won’t be broadcasting??) which should not affect the TV????????  Suggestions appreciated.

You can do that. Even better would be, after you've done initial Deco mesh configuration and setup, to change it to run in Access Point mode: How to set up Deco to work in Access Point mode

This is recommended Deco setting when you plan to keep your current router.

Appreciate the suggestion and have set it up as a Access Point. Thanks C
