I have an Apple TV in a secluded room at home. My WiFi has the same SSID on 2.4GHz and 5GHz (Smart Connect) and the Apple TV chooses which band to connect to (it can do both). I would, however, need to be able to set the router to only let the Apple TV connect to the 5GHz band (feel free to let the 2.4GHz be blocked for it). Apple TV doesn't allow you to set a preferred band, so I'd like to address this on the router side. At the same time, I don't want different SSIDs for the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. D-Link routers allow this. Thank you
