Ethernet cable problems ?

Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

Looking at my Mesh network, everything looks good - but then, this pesky "you might" . .

Tried changing the router/modem Ethernet cable (that's the only one :-)) to the one that comes with the M5 - no change.  A brand-new Cat 5e - ditto.

anybody knows what is the (potential) issue here, and how does the Deco system identify it as an issue ?

.

  @KingPing

I believe this message appears when M5 negotiates 100Mbps Ethernet link instead of gigabit. Modern networking equipment is often gigabit or more, so having 100Mbps might point at Ethernet cable issues.

Still, this may be expected, if Main Deco connected to modem or router with 100Mbps Ethernet ports. You should check hardware specs of modem/router your Main Deco connected to.

  @Alexandre. Yes same here. Is that confirmed? It shows an error because the internet is >100gbs ? Can deco run an update for this?
