Hi,

I purchased two TL-WA1201 access points that I was planning to use with a TL-SG1016PE POE/POE+ switch, but I noticed that the voltage of the access points is 12V.

Does this mean they're not compatible with the mentioned switch? Will it "fry" the access points if I tried to power them via active POE?

Thanks.

TL-WA1201 supports Passive PoE and if you power them with PoE/PoE+ (48v) will most probably fry them.
