Hello. I three Deco M5. The principal M5 is plugged by cable cat8 to the ONT ZTE F680.

 

My contract is 550 down and 30 up.

 

If I plugged by cable my computer to the principal Deco the speed is about 409 but If I plugged to F680 is about 506.

 

How I can improve my speed?

 

Don't should be the same speed when my computer is plugged to principal Deco as to ZTE 680?

I would recommend to configure Deco mesh to run in Access Point mode, then repeat speed tests again. 

See How to set up Deco to work in Access Point mode

 

In Access Point mode all Deco traffic management and throttling features will be disabled. If in Access Point mode speed does not improve, the suspect will be Ethernet cables. 

 

I have Deco M5, it does better than that, and I have gigabit Internet. Which means, your M5 should be delivering better speeds, too.

I run my Deco mesh in Access Point mode.
