Model: TL-WPA7517 KIT
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Latest available

Hello,

I'm facing a very weird situation where, when moving to a faster connection from the router, the powerline got actually slower.

Before I had a 450mb source speed that translated to 150mb at the extender.

Now, with a 1.2gb source speed, I'm seeing 80mb tops at the extender.

Nothing else has changed in the system and the extender is in the same location as it was before.

Any idea what's limiting the speed now?

  @Deimos

Hi, did you test the extender speed via WiFi of via wired connection? please connect one wired device to the extender to test internet speed again, if it is still much slower than the source internet speed, please check the powerline rate between the powerline adapter and extender via tpPLC utility and send us the screenshot.

Then you could also connect the same client device to your router directly and test speed via the same way.
