Solution is quite interesting - I set up proper date and time on the router (it was totally wrong, like 2018 year, etc.) and that solved my issues, I've successfully binded router with my account and don't see errors like mentioned above.

  @TalBo

Hi, if you restart the MR500, will it be online for some time from TP-Link cloud? and you are checking the cloud connection status via Tether App remotely, right?

Please test it when you are still at home, you could use mobile data of your phone to manage it remotely via Tether App, if it shows offline, restart the MR500, then monitor how long will it stay online from the cloud.

In addition, please send me a private message to let me know the MAC address of your MR500 and your TP-Link ID.

Hi, I want to clear situation and share some more details.

Router is connected to Internet using WAN port and has Internet access.

In the web-console: Network Map page shows that router is online and has internet access, when I click "TP-Link Cloud" button - I'm getting message "Device Offline.    Oops...   The device is offline. Please check the WAN and network configuration to make sure the appropriate settings are entered correctly."

In the Tether App: I see router as local device and can connect, when I do  "Tools" >> "TP-Link ID": "You're currently logged in as *******. Do you want to bing your device to this TP-Link ID?" >> "Bind" - it fails with message "Unable to bind the device. Please try again later."
