After speaking with customer services I purchased the AX1500 to replace my sky router and create a mesh network with my TP powerlines. I had heard there might be issues with Sky and other routers but was assured it would work by customer services.

I've plugged it in but there is no Internet. The light is not lit up at all.

I have standard broadband and an ADSL microfilter from the wall socket which I've plugged into the WAN port. Is this right?

I'm no expert so please be kind!

Thanks

  @MrsRPax

Hi, do you mean you connect an ADSL line to WAN port of the Archer AX1500? If so, I am afraid you will need an ADSL modem first, as the Archer AX1500 is a wireless router which needs to connect Ethernet cable via WAN port to receive internet access.

If your old Sky router has ADSL port and also Wi-Fi, I guess it is a modem and router combined, and you could also consider connecting your ADSL line into the old Sky router and configure the Sky router as bridge mode, then connect Sky router LAN port to WAN port of the Archer AX1500.
