Firmware Version:

Is it possible to connect each floor one satellite via a RJ45 to the internet? Or is only the "main satelitte" allowed to do so? At the moment I have conneted two satellites via RJ45, but has still "poor" network quality, seems to be he is still conected via wifi to the main satellite instead of using the RJ45.

Thx!

Reiner

It is possible to connect two Satellite Decos with Ethernet cables. This topic is discussed in the following TP-Link FAQ: General questions about Ethernet Backhaul feature on your Deco

Deco app will report if Satellite Deco is using WiFi or Ethernet to connect, example:

In this screenshot, Office and Study Deco use Ethernet, Bedroom Deco connects with WiFi.
