Model: Archer VR400
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.5.0 0.9.1

Hello all. I tried to setup a WDS in my house, but after watching all possible tutorials, I did not find any "Enable WDS" options. How is it possible?

It appears that WDS feature has been removed in the latest HW v3 of the Archer VR400.

In older HW v1 and v2 this feature exists and that's the configuration guide.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

No, that's not possible. You can't upload FW release created for one HW version to device with a different HW version:

There are more suitable device for that purpose like Archer C54 (with RE mode) or Archer C64 (with WDS) - both cheaper than VR400.

You could ask your retailer to swap the VR400 for one of these, depending on your needs - C54 (with 100mbit) while C64 (with gigabit) ethernet ports.
