Hi guys and gals,

Forgive me if this has been answered elsewhere but i couldnt find any info. I have Eir FTTH and their useless F3000 router (for wifi). I bought the TP Link AC 2100 modem/router thinking it would be a simple swap out and get up and running in a few minutes. Sadly this is not the case. I have downloaded the thether app and done the quick set up. Added my ISP credentials and im not getting internet. I am selecting "Eircom VDSL" from the drop down box? There is no option for "EIR" but they are essentially Eircom (old name). Can anyone that has successfully switched from using the F3000 router help me please or even reccomend another router that definetly works with Eir gigabit broadband. Thanks in advance for anyones help or advice... Im pulling my hair out at this moment crying

  @Gigabitweb

Hi, may I know how did you connect the AC2100 into your network? Through DSL line or through Ethernet cable? and how about the LED status?

When you go through the Quick Setup, if the Eircom settings doesn't match with your ISP information, you could select Other and then enter the necessary information manually, do make sure all the information are given by your ISP.

  @Sunshine hi, I'm connecting it straight to ONT via Ethernet cable. All leds are green but network light is staying on red? Do I need to get specific settings from my ISP or can I just copy settings from my Eir router? If so which settings am I copying? Thanks for your help in advance.

regards,

George.
