I am trying to use my printer (HP laserjet 1020) through the local network. But the tp-link USB printer controller won't show my printer as showed in the screen picture.

I think the connection between printer and modem is alright because the USB light on the modem is on.
i would be thankful if someone help me.

1. Please connect the USB printer to your computer via USB cable directly to see if it works on the computer

2. If it works fine with the computer, please follow this guide to try again: How to use Printer Sharing on the Wi-Fi Routers
