why my dsl modem enables wifi radio after every reboot?

hi.
i have an archer vr400 v3 dsl modem.
every time i disable its WiFi radio for 2.4 GHz in order to use 5 GHz only band ( i do not need 2.4 GHz radio).
but, after any modem reboot, it enables 2.4 GHz band by itself.
it seems a firmware fault.
please guide how to solve this.
