Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.7.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 220826 Rel.58057n

Hi there,

I noticed RE300 is missing on MR600 OneMesh settings page. At the same time, RE300 shows it is connected to the mesh network. (See pic.)

It was there but disappeared later (maybe after some configuration changed).

The network setup is like this. I have optical network coming to my apartment. On the provider's router, I disabled DHCP, Firewall, DNS, and WIFI. Enabled static routing of all traffic to MR600. I must leave it as this until I switch to proper ONT if the provider allows it. Then MR600 connects to it and works like a main router. I do not use it for 4G now, if that matters. Then there is RE300. There is also a pi-hole on RaspberryPI acting as a DNS proxy. And everything seems to be working OK. RE300 is present in the list of connected clients and is working OK. All settings from the main router are read by it properly as well.

Firmware is the latest on both devices.

Any idea what could cause the main router not to see an extender connected to its mesh network?

Thanks!

Reverting firmware on RE300 back to 1.0.12 Build 221019 Rel.57747n (6985) helped. This is the latest one before introducing EasyMesh on this model. Will monitor stability.

  @Eugene_G

Hi, is your RE300 hardware version V2? and what is the previous firmware version?

With the previous firmware version, RE300 was appearing on the MR600 onemesh page at first, then after a few minutes, it will disappear, but the mesh network is still working, is that correct?

@Sunshine , thanks for your reply.

Hardware Version: RE300 2.0

It was the latest version V2_1.0.23.

The mesh network was still working.

Yesterday, I bought RE330 in addition, and now I see them both even when they are on the latest firmware (V1_1.0.23).

Note:

RE330 1.0 had V1_1.0.11 and could not see the latest firmware V1_1.0.23, so I flashed it manually.
