Model: Deco X60
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.2.4 Build 20230601 Rel. 37750

I am trying to connect my printers to the network. a) HP Officejet 7740 and b) Leitz Icon

a) When trying to connect the connection failed. The report says that the Router (Deco x60) has an active MAC filtering which denied the connection. I am using the Deco App for all the settings and I cannot find anything helpful there. The App tells me that the printer is offline but it sees it.

b) With the Leitz I need the WPS function. But this function cannot connect either.

Is there anyone out there who can give me some advice? This is a big issue for me, I need my printers.

Thanks

PS: When I use the web platform to make some settings, I only have Status and Systems to choose from. Why?

  @Xaver06

I was able to fix the problem.

First, I changed the subnet to 255.255.255.0

Second, I changed the security settings to WPA2/WPA3 personal

Third, I restarted all of my devices, including all Deco X60 devices and my internet router.

And easygoing, every printer was connected.

Thanks to all of you for helping me.

With printers and WiFi mesh, it usually comes to one (or both) of the folowing things:

1. Printer does not understand dual band (single SSID for 5GHz and 2.4GHz);

2. Printer does not understand WiFi mesh (multiple units broadcasting same SSID).

HP Officejet 7700 has Ethernet port, the easiest would be to connect it with Ethernet cable to one of Satellites or to Main Deco. Even as a workaround, that should work if you need that printer right away.

For Leitz, user manual says the following: "If your router does not support WPS or if you have trouble connecting your printer to your wireless network using WPS, you can use the Leitz Icon Control Panel to connect the printer to your wireless network." Try that.

Actually, one more thing for Officejet: check if by any chance it is configured with static IP address. If it does, configure it to request IP address from the network (dynamically). If you don't have access to printer configuration options, printer reset usually configures it to request IP address from the network.
