I am not sure the firmware version. I am trying to connect it a modem.

Hi，are you using a DSL modem or Cable modem?

If it doesn't work with a DSL modem, please follow this video for troubleshooting

If it doesn't work with a Cable modem, please follow this video for troubleshooting
