Hi ,

I want to extend the network of my Archer VR2800. Unfortunately it doesnt support onemesh , so i am having to do it manually .

Questio is ...I dont want to have a different SSID for the extended network ...I want it to be more like a mesh.

If I set the SSID on the RE200 the same as on the VR2800...will it work and let the devices pick between the best signal ?

IF not , what is a good TP link router like the VR2800 which does support onemesh ?

  @Gtrem

Hi, it is okay to set the same WiFi name as the VR2800 for the extender, usually the roaming will be decided by your wireless client devices.
