Hello!

I have a TP-Link EX220 router as the main one in my house, and now I bought a RE605X repeater to extend the network signal.

However, at the point where I will place the repeater, I have a cable ready (which connects directly to the main router).

Can I use the RE605X as an AP, using a mesh network (instead of creating two separate networks)?

When setting it up, it worked perfectly as an Access Point, but it created another separate network and I didn't find this setting when it was as an AP (only if it was as a repeater).

RE605X do not support mesh in AP mode nor Easymesh ethernet backhaul.

You should use RE605X in RE mode and connect it wirelessly to your router to build a mesh.
