I have 3 Deco M9Plus (Living room-Principal, Kitchen, Bedroom)

i added a X50 outdoor for the garden. But the Living room-Principal is very far.

I tried to set up the preferred signal switched off and try to connect to Kitchen which is the closest.

But when I click on SAVE, I get the message "can't save, retry later".

As I thought. It appears to be common issue among long term owners of Deco M9 Plus. For solution, see: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/671334?replyId=1369784

  @Antoine_B

I saw this error message when not all Deco units in Deco mesh were updated to the version of firmware that supports Connection Preference feature.

Make screenshot of Update Deco page from Deco app, share it here and it'll tell me what firmware versions are on Deco units in your Deco mesh.

  @Antoine_B it seems up to date but version seems older than the one you post.
