For a few months now I've had a AV600  adapter kid (TL-WPA4220KI)

All had been working perfectly until this morning, when out of the blue the adapter stopped receiving internet connection, while still connecting to the local network according to my PC. All LED lights on both the adapter and receiver are on, which I assume indicates the product is fully functional.

For reference, my house has 3 floors. The receiver is on the top floor and the adapter is on the bottom floor. I moved the adapter to the top floor to check if the issue had anything to do with the device itself, and it worked perfectly

Is this a known issue that has a known fix? Thanks

  1. Check Power Outlets: Avoid power strips and surge protectors.
  2. Re-pair Devices: Press the Pair button on both devices.
  3. Update Firmware: Ensure both devices have the latest firmware.
  4. Reset Devices: Hold the Reset button for 10 seconds.
  5. Change Channels: Use the TP-Link Powerline Utility.
  6. Check Wiring: Ensure electrical wiring on the bottom floor is not faulty.
  7. Use Wi-Fi Extender: Consider boosting the signal if the issue persists.

If these steps don't help, contact TP-Link support.

Hope this helps!
