Model: TL-WA901N
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I've just bought a TL-WA901N access point.  I've plugged in an Ethernet cable with download speed of over 300Mps and the WiFi signal the unit is giving out is about 80 MPs.

is this normal- I was assuming it would be closer to the Ethernet speed?

TL-WA901N has only 10/100 mbps ethernet port which is the bottleneck for its wireless clients - check the tech specs.

TL-WA1201 would solve this issue - it has a gigabit LAN port.
