Hi,

Im interesting in purchasing TP-Link AX3000 Archer AX53.

But I need to know if I can connect it as a second WIFI.

I already have a WIFI router connected and working.  but I would like to install this new device on the 2nd floor where there is no WIFI coverage.  there is an Ethenet input in the 2nd floor, which I can use to connect the AX53 to the main WIFI router.

is that possible with this device?  if so, what is the best way to do that ?

Hi,

Thanks for posting on TP-Link Community.

Yes, it can connect to the main router via Ethernet cable and extend WIFI.

For your case, it is more recommended to use AP mode, to avoid double NAT issue.
