VX230v without VoIP codecs, WHY?
Advanced - Telephony - Telephone Numbers - Modify - Advanced, here i can't find the preferred codec to set for my VoIP, where I could choose between G.711, G.722 etc...
I have always found these settings in all other tp-link modems, but not in this one, and it's serious. My ISP requires me to choose some codecs for my telephony, but I can't do it. How is it possible that such an important section has been eliminated?
I have the last firmware, 0.16.0 2.0.0 v606c.0 Build 240530 Rel.14033n

Hi, thanks for posting question here.
VX230v is a customized model by some ISPs only, so we can know much less than common DSL modem routers.
If you fail to find certain function or feature, I guess the device does not support it.
If you still have concerns, it is suggested to contact your ISP or local support for further confirmation.

What do you think is the best tp-link modem that I can buy with full compatibility for VoIP?

Hi, to be honest, it is more suggested to contact the local technical support for confirmation, as they should be more familiar with the local ISPs.
