Hey everyone,

Hopefully someone here will be able to help me because I am at my wits end.

I recently bought TL-WR1042ND and two TL-ANT2408CL so that I could hopefully finally get a decent wireless signal to my gaming computer, which is upstairs from my router.

When I installed the two antennas though, the wireless connection went from stable-but-slow to 5 bars one minute and no networks detected the next.

What am I doing wrong?

well,normally TL-ANT2408CL will increase your wireless signal to a pretty good performance
1.when you use your original antennas in TL-WR1042ND,what signal strength will you get in your room upstairs?
2.How far is your room from the router?Are there many obstacle in the way?
3.confirm you connect your antennas correctly and firmly.
4.in other place of your house,does the signal strength become better when you use TL-ANT2408CL instead of the original ones?
