Just got this modem and was unsuccessful in getting to the printer I had connected to the print server. I'm on Win 7 64 bit. Previously this printer (Canon ip2770) was attached to this computer and worked fine (still does now that I put it back there). I was able to successfully (so it seemed) installed and it was visible in the Print Server Controller, with all appearing normal. But Win 7 cannot find the printer at all, even when I looked for it at the server's IP. Nothing there.

I tried rebooting, reinstalling the printer and print server controls and still the same. I see that the "approved list" does NOT include Canon ip 2770, but it does include other "nearby" models, e.g. ip2780, which are pretty much the same. BTW, I got storage sharing working fine.

Any ideas as to how to get this to work correctly?

Progress: TP link support helped -- the problem was that you do NOT need to "Add Printer" at all in order to print: just choose the printer in the list, even tho the printer shows up as being connected to my original computer where I did the install operation. Not at all what I'd expect as I was trying to add it as a new network printer. So this is now working from my three Win 7 machines. But not yet from my wife's Mac. I'll post more here if we find the solution to get it working from there.

OK, the problem with printing from the Mac was that you need to install the Print Controller software on the Mac. Now it works fine from all our machines :-)

Anyhow hope this helps someone else.
