I can't use printer sharing on my windows 7 64 bit PC

I installed,set up and made it work very easily "the USB Printer controller" programe on my Windows XP computer and it is working well but I couldn't make the same it on my
Windows 7 64 bit PC although they are all connected by ethernet cable to the same modem.
I tried a lot of things. I mean I have changed the ports, Ethernet cables, removed-installed the program, restart PC etc. but nothing has changed.
I can install the program but there is no printer in the list, its empty on Windows 7.
I also tried on "virtual xp mode" on Windows 7 but nothing happened.
My printer is Canon LBP 3010B which is suitable on the printer list.So what is the problem with Windows 7 64 pc? I don't understand.
Can you help me urgently?
