Hi

I have the following problem. I bought a TL-WDR3600, and everything works flawless, except the FTP acces over the internet. I checked all the manuals, did everything that was said, and still have no luck with it.
LAN access works fine, and I enabled internet acces too. I set up dynDNS, and from local adress, I can acces the FTP by using the domain name as well as the internet adress. But using an other connection (the 3G of my phone for example) doesn't work at all. The dynDNS forwards to my ip adress, but nothing happens. The strange thing is, using the default 21 port didn't work at all thru the WAN adress of the router, only the local one. I tried port forwarding (I used a port that wasn't in use at all), and it made possible to reach FTP thru WAN adress, but from outer network it does nothing.

Can you help me to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance.

No, I don't. I absolutely talked about something completly different when I said: "LAN access works fine, and I enabled internet acces too."

This WAN IP address is public? Without any restriction?

How do you mean "Without any restriction?" I can ping it from outer network, if that's what you mean. But it's not in the "Public Adress" part on the "FTP Server Configuration" page. There I have 0.0.0.0, instead of a usable IP.

Do you have web access to router from outside network? We have in Poland 3G or 4G operators who's restricted public IP addresses on firewall. And users can't access from internet.

We have those kind of ISPs too, but mine isn't one of them. Accessing to FTP worked on my previous router, so I'm pretty sure it's hardware related.

Give me screen shot from FTP configuration. I can't see your router web interface.

That doesn't work. On my laptop the ftp server is given by its dynDNS adress, and the remote folder, and does not connecting from outer network. On local network it works perfectly (with the dynDNS adress and the internet adress)
I'm not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised, if there was something connection between the unreachable FTP, and the fact that the default FTP port isn't work with the internet adress. I mean the only way to reach FTP with the internet adress is to set up a port forwarding, which forwards an outer port to the inner port 21.
