MR-3020, Tata Photon+ keeps disconnectiing within minutes.

I bought a TP-Link TL-MR3020 recently. Did the setup as directed in the guide. Connected my Tata Photon+ dongle to the device. It got connected and was able to connect to internet but after 3-4 minutes. I got disconnected. I have to pull the device out and then again insert it to connect again. and then again it disconnects.
Any ideas what is the problem?
