TL-WDN4800 Adapter will not connect to Internet
Region : UnitedKingdom
Model : TL-WDN4800
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I purchased a TP-Link Dual Band WDN4800 adapter in August 2013. Since then it has been working fine with fantastic line-speed connectivity - up until around 8.30PM GMT yesterday.
I am completely annoyed by this. I have tried everything to get onto the Internet, but to no avail. The adapter detects the networks, but then upon entering the password, Windows says 'Unable to connect - limited connectivity'. This is despite the fact that I was using the Internet minutes before!
I have:
Uninstalled original drivers - reinstalled original drivers - NOTHING
Uninstalled original drivers - downloaded newer ones from TP-LINK - NOTHING
Uninstalled newer driver - download Atheros drivers - STILL NOTHING
Took the card out, moved it to a new slot - STILL NOTHING
Tried to connect to the 2.4Ghz network I have - NOTHING
Changed the channel of the router - NOTHING
Reset the router - NOTHING
Restored default BIOS settings - NOTHING
Used ipconfig/ renew - NOTHING
Used ipconfig/ release - NOTHING
Used netsh int ip reset - NOTHING
I just don't know what else to do now. I need help please.
