TP-LINK TL-WN823N Can't install drivers

So I bought a TL-WN823N wireless USB adapter but when I try to install the drivers I get an error (- 5006 0x80070005) Please make sure you have finish any previous setups.
This is my first TP-LINK product so I'm not sure what's causing this error. I've already tried to run Ccleaner and clean the registry entries but the error still persists. Any ideas?

So I tried downloading the drivers from TP-link instead of using the disc it came with and it fixed that issue, but now I have another one.
It seems occasionally the pen just turns off, even the software stops detecting the pen and when I try to choose it as my wireless pen adapter I get this message:
