Model : TL-WPA4220

Hardware Version : V1

Firmware Version :

ISP :

For 6 months I have been using a WR740 router together with 2x PA 2110 powerline adapters & all has been working perfectly. Recently purchased a WPA 4220 wireless adapter and cant get it to connect to the internet. I am using Win 7.
Both adapters have been recognized by windows with the following info :
6954b4 signal strength good. Connected to internet. (this is the original)
486188 signal strength excellent . No connection to internet. WHAT IS GOING WRONG.
All of the hardware is TP-Links. Have downloaded all of the setup info but nothing works. I can plug a pa2010 into a electric plug connect it to my laptop via a ethernet cable & it works perfectly. Plug the WPA4220 into the same socket but NO internet, even though it displays excellent signal strength.

Can anybody help cos I'm running out of patience & considering changing all of the hardware to another make.

Have you done the pair operation on your WPA4220?
If your WPA4220's powerline light is not on, then it means your WPA4220 hasn't been paired.

Anyway, you can try to press the pair button on one PA2010 which has Internet and then press the pair button on your WPA4220 which has no Internet.
After a while, if the powerline light on WPA4220 is on. It means it is working.
