Region : Argentina

Model : TD-W8968

Hardware Version : V3

Firmware Version : 0.6.0 1.7 v0019.0 Build 131011 Rel.50940n

ISP : Afrihost/TelkomSA

Good day,

My router keeps on going into a "hanging/stuck" state every now and then. It is completely unreachable for 5-10min. All the lights on the router are still flashing but when going to 192.168.1.1 it cannot connect. I have tried the latest firmware upgrade but that makes it even worst.

I also sometimes experience the problem that when I connect a device it tells me the connection is limited, a disconnect and reconnect normally fixes the problem.

I had a lot less issues with the older type tp-link routers, but it seems the best way to go at the moment is net gear?

Thanks

It's working for me since two days ago without disconnections/resets.

I tried following the suggestions in that link but this is the screen I get at "Bandwidth Control"

It seems to give me different options than the ones suggested in that link, perhaps because the TD-W8968 is a different model to the one being discussed in that link?

They are different, indeed, but quite similar options are available. Just enable bandwith control, and write upstream/downstream values there.

Feedback is appreciated!
