I have a port forwarding issue through the TP-Link power line connected to my CCTV and the other end connected to my router. The set up works with port-forwarding and remote access of the CCTV when it is connected through CAt5 wired to router directly. As soon as I change it to the TP-link power line it is not connecting. Is there a firewall in the TP-link power line kit ? can it be disabled?

There is no firewall in TP-LINK powerline products.
So you have no need to do any configuration on your powerline products. I think you can reset your powerline products to give a try.
