TL-WDN4800 incredibly slow

I recently bought the TL-WDN4800 card, but the speeds I'm getting are unbelievably slow, when I run a speed test with the WDN4800 I get around 0,9Mps,while with a USB wireless I get between 7 and 10Mps....
I have tried updating with the drivers provided on the TP-Link website, and with the Atheros ones provided elsewhere on this forum, but neither seem to do anything at all....
Anyone have a suggestion to what I should do? I'm all out of ideas.....
