I too facing the same error with Firmware Version : 3.14.9 Build 140319 Rel.38485n .
Yes, its showing alert "Error: The port of the remote web management is conflicting with of the virtual server." while trying to set port forward 80.
I changed web management port to 1000 and rebooted router and tried to set forwarding to 80. But its showing this wired error.

After change web management port on Remote Management page, did your guys Save and Reboot the router first?
You'd better post some configuration screenshots here.

Cannot forward port 80!
2014-09-11 15:50:35
Hi,
i have the same problem here on my MR3420 v2 with the latest fw version (140319).
Here's what i've done:
1. Change Web Remote Management port to 81
2. Reboot the router
3. Login on router via web successfully on port 81 (just tho check)
4. Tried to forward port 80 on web servers whith NO SUCCESS, with message "Error: The port of the remote web management is conflicting with of the virtual server."
I attach some print screens to see.
Hope TP-LINK solve this, because i want to use my website on port 80, because is the default port for web surfing on browsers.
Best regards, and hope new firmware to fix this!!!
