I can still see M9 Plus offered on Amazon Canada (my region), have you considered getting additional unit from Amazon? The only problem, they are sold in sets of two.
Other options:
1. If you like M9 Plus form factor, get M5. It is like smaller version of M9 Plus and not that powerful, but depending what you need it for it might be enough. Should also be available on Amazon.
2. Another option is to replace all M9 Plus with set of newer Decos. If you Internet link is gigabit or faster, M9 Plus and M5 won't be fast enough to get maximum from it.
At my place, I recently replaced set of M9 Plus with set of X50-PoE. Currently, my Deco mesh consists of X50-PoE only. If you don't need Deco that is wall or ceiling mounted, consider set of X50 or X55.

@TNJC I see the Deco M9 Plus as End Of Life here in the USA. I would suggest something like a Deco BE23, which is sold as a single, pair, or tripple, depending on budget. As TP-Link stipulates the system is limited by the weakest unit, so adding a single BE23 would be limited to the M9 capabilities IF used as a Mesh, but you could possibly set the M9 Pluses to AP mode if they are to be wired, and put the BE23 as main router.
