Connecting to D-Link DHP-306AV with TP-LINK TL-WPA281 AV200
Region : UnitedKingdom
Model : TL-WPA281
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Hi, I have a Sky router which is connected via ethernet cable to a D-Link 306AV and this has another 306AV and a D-Link 310 attached to it, all working fine. I bought a TP-LINK TL-WPA281 AV200 thinking that I would be able to connect it to this D-Link powerline adapter. I have not been able to connect the TP-LINK to the D-link at all. Is this even possible? If so how? Also, the only way I can change the default IP address (which is not 192.168.1.1, but 169.xx.xx.xx in my case) is to clone it with my Sky router by using the WPS button. The problem is I need it to recognize the D-Link and I am really struggling to find any instructions on this. So, is this possible or not or does the TP-Link have to go back ? Thanks.
