Hello,

I just bought a new TD-W8970 modem/router but I'm in trouble with getting ADSL working. I have an old TP-Link TD-8840T which I configured by my self and it is working about 3 years perfectly.

Now I set up a PPPoE connection with the same settings ( by my old TD-8840-t which is ok now ) but TD-W8970 device ADSL LED is flashed and WAN Statistics says DSL Status: Not Connected.

I already tried the following things:

- Checked connections;
- Updated to the latest firmware (140613);
- Restored to Default factory settings

Now, I think it'd probability be a faulty device or other ATM handshaking.

also on system log on debug mode I see this error : ppp1 Timeout waiting for PADO packets

any one can help me ? or TP-Link service center ?
