Hi - I'm having the random drops and slow speed issues I've seen elsewhere in the global forums. Hardware version is Archer C7 v1 00000000. I've heard tell of a "beta" firmware that will help us Archer C7 V1 users - can you supply a link (preferably a zip file, English-language...)

Does the latest TP-LINK 'official' firmware include the Beta patch to get the issue fixed?

(Also have to admit - though I'm grateful for you help and taking the time, I'm cautious about installing software on my router that hasn't come from the site itself. It's a nasty world out there...)

Sorry I can't give you info about that because I haven't tested this last official firmware. I use last beta from my ftp server and I can see sometimes problem with my USB hard drive (speed and access from another host) then I must reboot my router. Wireless access is ok I can't see any freeze and wireless speed is also ok.
