Region : Poland

Model : TL-WDR4300

Hardware Version : V1

Firmware Version : 3.14.1 Build 140916 Rel.67118n

ISP : toya

I've just bought my new WDR4300 and succesfully configured for wired connection (connecting my laptop via ethernet gives me internet access). Unfortunately I cannot use wireless connection.
Facts:
* I can see my wireless network from my devices and I can connect successfully using my previously set password
* after connectiong I can see "limited connectivity" warning
* after connecting I cannot even ping my router and I cannot access administrative web app
* when I plug in my enthernet connection all the problems dissapear
* I updated firmware today - it did not help
* I tried different wifi configurations (20MHz channel width, choosing channel other than "auto") - nothing helps

Any IP address obtained on your devices?
MAC filter is disabled, right? Try to change security option to WEP or disable security.
If still no luck, restore it to factory defaults and configure it again.

Yes, correct IP address is obtained. ipconfig command shows correctly ip address, gateway, dhpc server etc.
MAC filter is disabled.
I've tried to change security to WEP and even disable security (open network)
Also tried to restore factory defaults - still no luck

So weird...Wi-Fi lights are flashing or solid on? Probably it is defective in Wi-Fi function.

OK, I fixed it. Or, rather I isolated the problem. Everything works fine as long as I select b/g/bg mode. If I select n or b/g/n the problem persists.
Is that a good reason to lodge a complaint?

My WDR4300 has no similar issue. What kinds of wireless devices you tried? Can you update driver of those built-in wireless cards?

After reading every help page I could find, and trying each suggestion to no avail, I finally reverted back to Win 8. I went on my Microsoft account and chatted with a rep from billing and MS refunded the cost of all the application. I had downloaded so I didn't get re-charged for them. The engineers have problems to be sure, and Win 8.1 would be a wonderful OS if it worked to get us online, but the MS billing office was more than wonderful.
