Can't open certain pages like yahoo , steam , etc. But, pages like google open

I have been stuck with this problem for more than 2 months and i haven't found a way to solve this.
My connection is something like this:
Modem-->TP-Link Router-->My PC.
Websites like hotmail , steam community and yahoo do not open.
Skype works fine
But,when i connect it directly like this:
Modem-->My PC
All websites open smoothly.
I need to use the Wi-Fi .so please help me out , especially those computer experts out there...........
