Hi,
i have the TP-LINK TL-WA730RE working as Range Extender and my Samsung SMART TV (model UE40EH5450)
with Samsung USB Wifi dongle (model WIS12ABGNX) is loosing wifi connection after a while.
All other wireless devices (smart phones, laptop, tablets) are working just fine.
If i turn off the tp-link and turn on again sometimes it connects sometimes not.
Any suggestions?

hola. la señal entre la tv y el tplink es buena?
Proba estableciendo ip estatica con puerta de enlace y dns1 y dns2 fijos.
configura todo manualmente en el televisor.

y contame que pasa.

For the Samsung TV, try manually assigning IP values on the settings (ip/subnet/gateway/dns).

Why don't you think it is the problem with Samsung USB Wifi dongle since other wireles clients are working fine with the range extender? Did you try to update driver of the dongle?

Hi NikolasM

If setting an IP manually still does not work, try these
1, change the wifi channel on your wireless router
2, connect directly the Samsung TV's LAN port to the TL-WA730RE.
3, since you cannot update the driver for the Samsung Wifi Module, maybe you can try
and update the Smart TV's software/firmware and see if this will be able to solve the issue.
