Hi,

I have been using W8961ND ADSL2 modem router for more than 6 months. Earlier I had a connection through a ADSL cable from Airtel. Now I have shifted house and I have connection from spectranet which directly provides internet through ethernet cable. I want to use W8961ND as a router and enable wifi at home. Is it possible ? If yes please guide on steps to do so?

Thank you

With the ethernet cable plugged in your PC directly, you can access interent, right? What's the IP address obtained? If it is public one, W8961ND cannot be used. If it is privite, you may use it as an access point.
